Sail by the rules
To ensure a safe, fair and smoothly-functioning club, PSA's Board of Directors developed, and the membership adopted, a set of Policies and Procedures. Take time to review this document which governs most aspects of the club's activities.
To sail safely, you must know basic nautical rules including "rules of the road" (e.g. when to give way to an appoaching boat), buoy marks (how to honor them), and the rules and guidelines developed by local organizations regarding behavior on and off the water. If you race, you will want to learn racing rules. If you sail at night, you will want to learn how to navigate and honor bouys at night.

With PSA, I can always find someone to sail with and do all the cruising I want. You can't beat the cost or experience – it's the best deal on the Bay.
